1-15-99
(Mountain View, CA)
tudentsHelp4Free
announced that it would launch a new publicity campaign at local
community colleges and private universities late Thursday night,
January 14, 1999 . Some of the target universities include De
Anza College, Foothill College, Stanford University, and Santa
Clara University.
In
upcoming weeks, the organization hopes to open its services
to more students, who can utilize the free services provided
by the organization. In addition, college students were targeted
as the organization continues its search for new volunteers.
With over half a dozen members, the organization is looking
to more than double its staff in upcoming weeks.
StudentsHelp.org has a listing of available
positions on its Internet site. The recent campaign was
launched as the organization was flooded with email requests
for help by students at Stanford University. As a result, Bay
Area colleges were targeted as potential services users. More
updates on the campaign will be made as they become available.
